Affordable, quality health care for your family.
A re-elected Liberal Government will ensure Tasmanians can see a doctor for free.
For better health care services, please support Majority Government and vote 1 to 7 for your local Liberal candidates.

Liberals to open five new GP bulk-billing clinics
A re-elected Liberal Government will open five new GP bulk-billing clinics.
These will be 100% bulk-billing practices.
We have already committed to provide a $3 million interest-free loan to build a new, 100% bulk-billing practice in Legana, providing around 30,000 more appointments in one of the fastest growing areas in the State.
We will support GPs around the State to establish clinics, either in existing community health infrastructure, or with interest-free loans and grants for practices to take on and retain doctors in other parts of the State – adding to the programs already put in place under a Liberal Government.
Meeting the needs of Tasmanians
We want Tasmanians to be able to access a doctor when they need one, not when they can afford one.
Powered by Medicare
This policy is supported by the Australian Government's commitment to strengthen Medicare.
Our Plan
Building an even better health system for Tasmania.
More GPs
- Rural General Practice Settlement Incentive Grants to attract new GPs to Tasmania
- GP Rapid Response Team to support rural and regional communities
- Established the Single Employer Model to attract new doctors into General Practice
- Grants for rural GP clinics
ADHD Support
Enabling Tasmanian GPs to diagnose, manage, and treat ADHD for both children and adults. This will slash wait times for assessments, cut medical costs, and ensure lifelong ADHD care that’s easier to access and coordinate right across the State.
Learn MoreNurse Practitioners
Increasing employment opportunities for Nurse Practitioners by incentivising private practices to grow their workforce, particularly in rural and regional areas.
Learn MoreBetter Hospital Care
Bringing Rural Generalists into our hospitals to enable them to work at their full scope in our facilities.
